This project is an ideal way to try out new stitches, or re-visit old ones. The rows are just long enough to feel that you've mastered a stitch, but short enough not to get bored before you can move onto the next. You can also experiment with adding beads or sequins for further embellishment, or apply ribbons or lace along the rows of sewing.
