Coronavirus update
During the outbreak we will continue to operate our online store.

We will aim to dispatch purchases as quickly as we can, however as the team are now primarily homeworking due to limitations on movement, this may take up to 14 days and we ask customers to bear this in mind. We will notify customers as soon as items are dispatched and refund any orders that we are unable to fulfil should restrictions on movement tighten further in the coming days.

Shipping

We will endeavour to ship all purchases within 3-5 working days. Shipping is via Royal Mail first class post.

It is the buyers responsibility to ensure that all postal details are entered correctly before submitting orders. Gawthorpe Textiles Collection accepts no responsibility for items which are lost in transit or delayed due to incomplete or incorrect shipping information.

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase (30 days since dispatch during lockdown), unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:
- any item not in its original condition
- Any item that is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the original cost for shipping will not be refunded, unless your item was defective or damaged, then shipping will be refunded.

Exchanges 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Depending on where you live, the time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
